OUR MISSION
To walk alongside parents, through classes and coaching, on their journeys to becoming the role models their children need to grow up in a safe, loving home.
OUR VISION
All children grow and thrive because parents work courageously to provide a safe, loving home.
OUR THEORY OF CHANGE
We believe when parents are empowered to protect and nurture their children well, children, families, and our communities are stronger. As such, NewDay Services offers parents an interactive learning experience (FOCUS+ Curriculum) and a highly relational, dedicated point of contact (mentor-navigation) to help fathers and mothers realize their potential as parents.

PRESIDENT'S REPORT
At NewDay, God has used faithful people for over 27 years to grow the impact of this ministry. NewDay staff feel their position is more of a calling than a job. Like the parable of the talents in Matthew 25, we are all given certain gifts and abilities so that we can use them for God’s glory. At NewDay, that Biblical truth is on full display.
We are dedicated to using our gifts to serve mothers, fathers, and children in crisis with full dedication, abandonment and compassion. God has blessed our faithfulness by growing the territory and the number of people we serve. It wasn’t long ago that NewDay served only in Tarrant County. It’s unbelievable that we now serve 49 North and West Texas Counties. Opportunities are on the horizon for us to grow throughout Texas as Community Based Care expands in Texas and as our FOCUS+ program moves to gain a national certification.
With our FOCUS+ program for mothers and fathers, we guide parents to make real life changes to get their family reunited. We change the direction of children’s lives as they return home to healthy parents rather than remaining in the foster care system. We change family legacies from homes with toxic abuse, addiction or absent fathers/mothers to homes that are healthy, nurturing and loving. God is indeed using our gifts and abilities to impact the hurting for His glory.
It's hard to imagine how many lives are changed through our chaplains at the Juvenile Justice Center (JJC) and Family Law Center. As you read the weekly prayer requests of youth detained at the JJC, you get a glimpse how God is moving in their hearts. They are crying out for help and NewDay chaplains are there to encourage and guide them spiritually.
Here is an actual prayer request, “Father God, I want to go home. I have been planning things I want to accomplish. I have little sisters that look up to me and I want them to look up to me the right and not the wrong way."
If you are not already doing so, please consider how you might join us using your unique gifts and talents to serve families in crisis. We’d love for you to join our volunteer team, be a financial supporter or be a partner in prayer for this ministry. Call me at 817-926-9499 and we can discuss how you can get involved.
Blessings,
Bob Robinson

FAMILY SERVICES
Families going through a break-up face unique challenges as they try to navigate through the court system. Families often feel isolated, confused, angry, hurt and sometimes helpless. NewDay provides anger resolution, mediation and individual counseling services, teaching co-parenting skills and coaching through reconciliation.
Co-Parenting - Access Without Conflict
NewDay Services Co-Parenting Classes seek to build a bridge in the co-parenting relationship to better meet the needs of children. Access without conflict is our co-parenting program that helps parents:
Grow their influence.
Cooperate with difficult people.
Resolve stress and frustration.
Relieve the tension in their child caused by family break-up.
Anger Resolution
NewDay's Anger Resolution is a 10-week program designed to help men and women resolve difficult situations that arise out of complicated problems. The step-by-step program will establish building blocks that guide the participant to learn a healthy way of dealing with stress and chaos.

FAMILY LAW CENTER

As one of our fathers said, "You called me, approached me, were humble, courteous, and invited me in."
NewDay Services has been provided with office space at the Tarrant County Family Law Center since 1999. Services we provide include Anger Resolution, Case Mediation, Co-Parenting, Life Coaching, and Spiritual Guidance. God uses the NewDay Services’ staff throughout our community to inspire hope by being a tangible expression of His love.

TARRANT COUNTY JUVENILE JUSTICE CENTER

"Pray to let God guide me and change my life around for the best and also keep my family in good hands."
- Juvenile's Prayer Request
For 25 years, NewDay Services has been an invited guest at the Juvenile Justice Center (JJC). Chaplains provide spiritual support for juveniles awaiting a court hearing and they coordinate community volunteers who conduct evening Bible studies and day-long spiritual events for teens. The chaplains teach life-building concepts intended to increase each participant's internal hope and motivation for their own success upon being released back into our community.

NEWDAY SERVICES EVIDENCE BASED
For almost 27 years, NewDay services has been providing support to parents in Fort Worth and surrounding communities. In 2019, with the support of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, we recognized the need for rigorous evaluation to maximize the reach and impact of our fatherhood programming.
When a program can demonstrate significant measurable impact on outcomes, more funding opportunities become available, open the door to further expansion and replication of the program. One such example is the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA), which offers potential federal child welfare funding to support the FOCUS+ program. To be eligible for FFPSA funding a program must conduct a rigorous evaluation, have a manual reviewed and approved by the FFPSA clearinghouse.
In early 2020, the Annie E. Casey Foundation engaged James Bell Associates (JBA) to support NewDay Services in conducting a formative evaluation of the FOCUS+ program.
COMMUNITY BASED CARE
Community-Based Care (CBC) is the new privatized, Texas foster care model. It allows local communities to meet children's and their families' unique and individual needs by tapping into the strengths and resources of each community.
To bring improvements to the Texas foster care system, Fort Worth’s All Church Home (ACH) received the state contract for “Foster Care Redesign,” now called Community Based Care, in 2014. ACH created a new division called Our Community Our Kids, or OCOK, to pioneer this innovative approach in Tarrant County and 6 additional North Texas counties.
In 2023, NewDay Services contracted with OCOK, and 2INgage serving CPS Region 2, a 30-county area that includes Wichita Falls and Abilene. In 2024, we are contracted with EMPOWER, the CBC for Dallas and 8 additional counties in CPS Region 3.
Community Based Care is changing the landscape for Child Welfare and NewDay Services is well positioned, serving 3 CBC areas. As CBC expands throughout Texas, NewDay Services will continue to increase the service area with each CBC.
